Management is disrespectful

We went in for a tour of a 2bd 2bth. The appointment had been set for a week already. When we arrived, we arrived early so the office was still closed. I didn’t mind waiting because I was the one that was too early. When they finally opened the door, the manager, completely disregarded up. No greeting no pls come in no sort of hospitality. We were left in the lobby wondering what to do so we got closer to a woman sitting at a desk. She also did not greet us at all she just looked up annoyed and… asked what we needed. I told her we were there for a tour and she got up and started doing thing. No sort of communication on if we should sit or follow or wait. She finally came back and said ok we’re going this way. We get to the apartment and she says “actually I don’t think I’ll be able to show it. It’s not ready yet. They are still working” I ask when we could come back to see and she said idk. I asked her if we could see it as soon as possible so she went and booked us again for the following day at 2 pm. I told ok we’d be back but I had questions and she said this is all going to be gone over with me when I come back so no need to ask today. The day of the new appointment I get a text that my appointment had been changed so I tried calling, texting leaving a vm to see what happened but no response. I decided to still go in to see what happened and the manager said “it’s not ready that’s why I rescheduled you” I said I understand but I was not informed. She rolled her eyes and said follow me. She took us to go see the apartment that btw was ready to be viewed. The apartment was nice at first glance but when I started opening the drawers, they were falling apart and they were dirty and looked stained from who knows what. I said thank you and we left. I don’t recommend at all. If this is how they treat people who are interested imagine how they treat actual residents.

Poor Service

My fiancé and I are looking for an apartment and I made an appointment online to view a 1 bed 1 bath. I arrive to the office on time for my appointment and it was closed. Someone arrived after us and turns out they were there to open the office. She gave us a very dry goodmorning (not welcoming at all) and passed by us without telling us anything else. She came back outside and said to take a seat while she used the restroom. After about 5 min of waiting on top of us waiting outside. She asked… what we’re looking for, I stood up which then lead her to inviting us to her desk. I said i was interested in a 1 bed 1 bath and she takes forever looking something up on her computer, tells me she’s going to get a copy and she’d be back. She comes back said she’s not sure if they have 1 bed 1 bath available. Tells me she’s going to make sure, she walks away. Comes back and said she doesn’t have any available. IT WAS A WAIST OF MY TIME. If they let me know a head of time i wouldn’t have even bothered. So glad I don’t live here. Poor customer service overall.

Horrible Customer service and poor maintenance service

This is one of the worst apartment complex ever! They are not luxury apartments! The have very poor customers service and maintenance services! Every time we submit a maintenance request they say they will take care of it but they don't and they send an email saying they fixed the problem but they did not!!! They lie! It takes months to get something fixed even if it's an emergency!! The apartment complex is full with bug and rats! Rats are always coming to our patio and we kept reporting that… but the don't care. This is horrible!! Please do not rent here!!!

Do not rent here

This place is a dump!!!!! Management sucks you put orders to get service and they never show up yet they tell you the work is done. Now they implemented “reserved” parkings well they just announce ALL parkings are reserved even if there’s no reserved sign on them! So you cannot have any guests at all! They just straight up suck DO NOT RENT HERE!! As you can see below the spaces are marked as “reserved” parking and the one next to it is a free/guest parking. They will tow your car even if it’s on… the free/guest parking! And they don’t tell you this when you rent here they will tell sweet talk you and all but as soon as you move in you realize the big mistake! Everything here at Villages of Monterey is false advertising!

Not luxury apartments

Where should I even begin? First and foremost, this is not a luxury apartment! Our main door has a crack where lizards, spiders, and cockroaches enter. This place is infested with spiders, and only who knows what else is in this awful place. I had someone fix the door, which he did so poorly, and now you could barely open it. There is black stuff coming out from my daughters' bathtub crevices. The wall is so thin in this place that we can hear my neighbor having sex. I'm so sick of this place.… My husband's brand-new motorcycle was stolen from this ghetto luxury apartment! This place asks for good reviews in exchange for a chick-fil-a gift card. How funny! The fake wood floor is coming off that I asked someone to fix it, and all they did was glue it. Please do not tell me you are sorry how unhappy I am with your place because you guys can't change the fact that this place is not worth the price you guys are asking.
