17 Years gearing for war! Now my entire body is riddled with injuries and well over 12 surgeries with all the rods, pins, screws and bone fusions holding my body together with knocking on deaths door twice during the years Gearing for War 2004-2021. My full-time job now is managing my health at the VA hospital. My Care Giver the last 4 years had a stroke in Jan 2025 and was put into an assisted living home where I found myself evicted without a place to stay March 2025. Now Homeless and Living... in my car with my service dog working with the Roads Home Program for Homeless Veterans and Insight housing. The Staff at Sunrise Station Apartments went out of their way to make sure I had a place to stay in one day! I can tell you sleeping in a small 4 door sedan with your 80lb service dog is extremely difficult and hard on a war-torn body. service is a blessing, and I was blessed with finding the Staff at Sunrise Station Apartments' and I was blessed with a home in one day. If the simple things like food and love means the most to you! You can't find a better place to stay.
