I’ve enjoyed living at this community for the past five years. The location and overall environment have been positive, and I’ve made an effort to take good care of my unit during that time. That said, the carpet—especially in the main living areas—has experienced significant wear over the years and is now impacting the comfort and appearance of the apartment. After this amount of time, I believe it would be reasonable to have it replaced as part of maintaining the quality standards of the... community. I would be happy to continue recommending this property and sharing a more positive experience once this concern is addressed.

Fire alarm
Ascent has good apartment and layouts, the outside is nice too. Moved to San Jose and lived here for 6 months. Parking is first come first serve so you constantly fight for a space and if you work late, you’ll end up on the top floor. The fire alarm apparently is a consistent issue for residents from 2016…. It’s 2026! 10 years and we can’t fix that? This is so dangerous of false alarms, what happens if it’s a real alarm?
