Summerwood Apartments

Our experience at this apartment complex was extremely negative and caused us to end our lease early. From the start, management was disorganized and unresponsive, including an application error, repeated parking issues that nearly led to towing, and a unit that was dirty and not remodeled as advertised. We dealt with an ongoing cockroach infestation, rodents on the property, and unresolved maintenance problems, yet rent was still increased.

The property felt unsafe due to poor upkeep, trash,... broken gates, and frequent break-ins. Management ignored emails and calls, issued a false eviction notice, and failed to provide disability accommodations. Our move-out inspection never happened, we called, emailed, texted, and we never got a reply. Since moving out, we are finally stress-free and strongly recommend you to keep looking elsewhere. Poop everywhere & property is infested with insects, rodents, and roaches. Management sucks, they’re so amazing when you do a tour however change when you move in. Everyone is useless & refuse to help. Good luck on contacting them, they don’t answer the phone unless you want to move in. Parking used to be free but now charge $100 per car on top of expensive rent. Children running everywhere and breaking everything, dogs running off leash attacking other dogs, plumbing problems, slow or useless... maintenance. Units are filled with mold, lots of cracks everywhere. If you are disabled good luck, there’s no disability parking for you a stairs everywhere with no ramps. Everything in the unit is old or rotting, they just paint over it. Don’t move here, I regret moving here so much. You’ll find something better. We enjoy living here because we have support from our neighbors, staff, and maintenance. There are ups and downs on maintenance issues (sometimes it gets down immediately; others may take time), but Kaitlyn and Mark usually reply back to us. We appreciate Ricardo, Miguel, and Jose's work who seem to be the trio now here at Summerwood. Please continue this experience to be positive!

I usually like it here at Summerwood however they are undergoing new ownership and the transition really drags. The construction, extra inspections and closed down amenities doesn’t help either. Hopefully they can get it together at the leasing office and corporate!

Great staff members very friendly, kind, nice and knowledgeable. The size of the apartment has lots of space and closet space. I am pleased and excited I moved here.
