unbearable noise and little comfort
The biggest issue with this apartment complex is the upstairs noise. Every single step from the unit above sounds like a loud trumpet blasting through the ceiling. It’s constant, disruptive, and makes it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. This is not occasional noise , it’s daily, unavoidable, and clearly the building has poor sound insulation.
On top of that, there is relentless noise from outside. Train horns are extremely loud, and street noise comes through at all hours, adding to an... already exhausting living environment. There seems to be no effort at all to manage or mitigate noise.
As if that weren’t enough, the hallways are freezing. There is absolutely no heating in the common areas, which makes the building feel cheap and neglected rather than comfortable or well-maintained.
Overall, this place offers very little comfort and even less peace. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if quiet and basic livability matter to you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how frustrating ongoing noise concerns can be, especially when they impact your ability to relax or rest, and we’re sorry to hear that this has been your experience.
Living in a... community setting does come with shared environments, but we do take concerns around noise seriously. Our team is always happy to work directly with residents to better understand what they’re experiencing, address situations with neighboring homes when possible, and explore solutions or next steps together. We also recognize that train and street noise can be a challenge for some residents, while for others it is part of the convenience of our location and proximity to transit. We aim to be transparent about this during tours and conversations, but we understand that individual sensitivity can vary.
Regarding the temperature in the hallways, common area corridors in larger, open residential buildings are typically not individually temperature controlled. These spaces are naturally influenced by surrounding units and shared areas. That said, resident comfort is important to us, and we appreciate you raising this so we can remain mindful of how these spaces feel throughout the seasons.
We would encourage you to reach out to our onsite team directly so we can better understand your specific concerns and work toward a resolution. Our goal is always to create a community where residents feel heard, supported, and comfortable in their homes.
