Do not rent here if you want to be happy
Don’t be fooled by the beautiful landscaping or the model apartment. The tour sells you a community that simply doesn’t exist once you’ve signed the lease.
If anyone in the leasing office promises you anything, get it in writing. I was told I could upgrade to covered parking before I signed my lease. After I moved in, that promise disappeared and I was suddenly told there was a waitlist that had never been mentioned. I was assigned a space under a tree that constantly covers my car with sap and... bird droppings, and management has refused to move me despite numerous better uncovered spaces sitting empty.
I’ve met other residents who have described similar parking issues and unmet promises.
Community rules don’t seem to be enforced. Bass music regularly travels through the buildings and into apartments. Residents also play loud music with their windows wide open, and I’ve observed smoking in the pool area despite the property’s no-smoking policy. In my experience, submitting complaints through the resident app has accomplished nothing.
The biggest disappointment is the leasing office. Before you sign, they’re friendly and accommodating. After you become a resident, I’ve found them dismissive, unwilling to help, and far more interested in saying “no” than in finding reasonable solutions. I’ve sent multiple emails about my parking situation and have never received a response.
I regret choosing Cypress Point and would never recommend living here.
