Walnut Apartments

Garbage is out of control. Complaining about it doesn't seem to help at all.

Pros: walking distance to shopping complex, close to mall, hardwood type flooring, large living room, central heating and AC, some storage space, complex surrounded by trees
Cons: Appliances are out dated (they have begun to replace them only if they die), cabinets have no shelving and have been covered in clear coat which wasn't professionally done (its runny in spots), they covered all counters with the same clear coat which has been chipping off since about when i moved in, two light... switches in bathroom only one works (they hooked up the lights and fans to one), has pool but only open during week, hot tub hasn't worked since i moved in, hard to find parking if you have more than one car, if close to the main street its very loud with cars racing by Read More

The appliances are old an out dated and so are the cabinets. The cabeints have no shelves. For some reason the decided to put a clear coat on the cabinets to make them appear new...it failed they missed some spots. They also tried that on the counters and now it's chipping off an looks bad. There's two light switches in the bathroom but only one works so they hooked the fan, heat lamp, and light to the same switch to avoid installing another switch. Another negative is the pool is closed on the... weekends. They also have a hot tub that has never worked the two years I've been here. Its only purpose seems to be a kiddie pool. Only nice thing in these apartments is the have a nice laminate flooring. Lots of trees around the complex. They have newer machines in the on site laundry facility.
