Palermo

I read a lot of different reviews about Palermo before deciding to move to this apartment. They have a lot of staff. I point this out because if you had any real problem it is not at all difficult to track someone down between cleaning staff, office staff, and maintenance, this place is very well taken care of. I have never had an issue with any staff member, they are very friendly and caring people. When you come to check this place out, look at the pool! They have it cleaned two or three… times a week. With any place, you will occasionally need a repair and they are very on it, you can fill out a request online and they fix it promptly. Of all the many helpful staff members, maintenance is my favorite, they are prompt, and they clean up after any repair they make, and even if I have a repair and I'm home alone I always feel safe and respected. My son isn't too delicate with mirrored closet doors and they took them away and stored them when I requested it, which I really appreciated. I don't find it loud here, my last apartment had much thinner walls, although a sound machine still isn't a bad investment. I've never heard loud parties here, a few get-togethers that seem to be on the very tame side. As someone else mentioned the layout is great, the master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet, there isn't wasted space. The balcony is pretty enormous. I've never used the gym so I can't comment on that. The laundry room use to have some issues but they have changed out the charging machines (credit card, you don't need quarters) and the laundry room has recently switched to being 24 hours so that's really good now. My favorite thing about this apartment is that you can easily walk to Target, Ralphs, Sprouts, the mall, restaurants, 2 parks, and an elementary school (if you have young kids), and even a liquor store if you so desire. I would say the building has a good mix of tenants. Everyone I've encountered here seems nice, tenants included. We only lived in the apartment for 8 months due to military orders, but I would have gladly stayed for years. When you look at most places they have a ton of wasted space because they just weren't built right. When I look at this place I see that the designer actually had a brain and put some thought into the layout of the apartment. Great job on this one.
