I had an amazing experience living at Union Flats! The community events were a highlight, and through them, I met some of my best friends. The building itself is beautiful and always peaceful, making it a perfect place to come home to after a long day. I've had the pleasure of calling The Union Flats my home for more than 3 years and I couldn't be happier with my decision. From the moment I moved in, I've been consistently impressed with the quality of the apartments, the amenities, and especially the exceptional service provided by the management team.

The apartments themselves are spacious, modern, and well-maintained. The attention to detail in the design and the high-quality finishes make it a truly comfortable and stylish place to live.... The amenities are fantastic, which add so much value to the living experience here.

What truly sets The a Union Flats apart is the service. The management team and staff are always professional, friendly, and incredibly responsive. Any maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, and they go above and beyond to ensure that residents are happy and comfortable. Whether it's a small issue or a special request, they handle everything with care and attention to detail.

The community here is also wonderful. The residents are friendly, and there's a real sense of community fostered by the events and activities organized by the complex. It's a place where you can truly feel at home.

writing this review as a resident that has been living here for a year now. The reason I can’t give this location anything higher than 2 stars is because the front office before this new company was awesome! Now we are having more break ins than ever, no security on site even though residents have had multiple things stolen from them to include a motorcycle and their locker was cut open with wire cutters. No investigations have been launched and there is no on site security to be seen. I have... asked the front office currently to handle the situation about residents leaving their trash bins, random objects, etc and they send an email with no further action. Also, I have asked the front office twice for someone to contact me or email me about my contract renewal and it has been about 2-3 weeks since I asked the first time and now a week since the second time. I am very disappointed in how this new company that took over the flats is handling business and now am looking into other options as this location has now become more unsafe and less than trustworthy.

I have spoken to management and higher management about multiple issues and their response is always “we are working on that” or “we will send another email”. Nothing from this new management is being handled appropriately nor is it being handled timely. They mention that they will handle things but nothing seems to stick so I will be writing about their business and agency until they actually take care of things that they promise or say that they will handle. I always come home to my hallway always smelling like rotten food. Trash being left all over the place and on the ground. Trash bins being left out like this apartment hallway belongs to them and their trash. This place is too expensive for this type of care. My recommendation is to take your business was elsewhere. The Union Flats is a hidden gem here in the Bay Area! The dog owner community is so welcoming and it makes for great morning to walk down the block to say hello to the Hippies Brew baristas. We wish we could have moved in sooner while also feeling very fortunate to have found a nice, safe, clean and affordable community to make a home within for our little family.

Have recently moved in and all is going very good, very clean, friendly community, enjoy walking through the nice view of our apartments. Enjoy seeing other dogs around not like my previous home where I had to hide my dogs.
