it is up to you.
Lived here for around 2years.
Pros.
1. There is an App that controls a lot of things. (parking gate, front/back entrance door, unit door, A/C, and indoor lights
2. In the apartment, people here are quiet.
3. modern design, new building
4. pets are allowed
5. they recently installed solar panels on the roof. you can save electricity bill by applying
6. in-unit laundry / comparably new appliances
7. The overall apartment environment is quite clean
8. locked storage for Amazon delivery... with an app notification
9. good view if you live above the 4th floor (I think)
Cons.
1. two managers have already left within 2 yrs (don't know why)
2. transit train passes every 30 minutes (4am - 9pm) with a horn
3. night train (mts overnight) passes from 12:30pm to 5am (dont' know how often) with a loud horn
4. there is an apartment across the street in a very close distance (I always feel someone is watching)
5. when we got here first time, some restaurants were playing loud live music every saturday. I had to file a complaint to the city when my wife and I couldn't hear each other. the situation got better (playing way less than before, and they would stop music at 9pm)
6. Window blinds are very transparent. you probably need another curtain to block the windows at night time
7. Lots come and go. I feel like it is Airbnb
8. when you have a maintenance issue, the only way you can have it fixed is by submitting a ticket online. Vendors seem not to really care how soon you need them to be fixed
9. you can scratch a white painted wall with your fingernail.
10. close to the freeway 78 and 15
Overall, once we got used to the train horns and music from restaurants, it was good, but the price seemed a little bit high. people here are friendly, except annoyingly tailgating, even other lanes are open
