I have lived here for almost two years, and for the majority of that time I had no issues. The problems began around December 2025, when a resident started banging on doors throughout all three floors at approximately 4:00 a.m. while screaming threats and recording anyone who opened their door. Management was notified, and I was assured they had spoken with the resident.
After that incident, I did not hear anything further from the resident until recently, when I again heard... extremely unsettling screaming and threats. The following day, the behavior escalated from disturbing outbursts and verbal threats to threats of physical harm and death. Given what had occurred four months earlier, this was extremely concerning. Management was again notified, and two separate police incident reports were filed.
Communication can be slow, frequently requiring multiple follow-up attempts before receiving a response. Unfortunately, Monica's responses have frequently come across as nonchalant rather than collaborative, which has made it more difficult to effectively resolve concerns. There have also been instances where confidentiality has not been appropriately maintained, which has further complicated issue resolution and contributed to escalation. Her communications have frequently left the impression that the issues were being minimized or dismissed, with little urgency shown toward addressing them.
Overall, my experience at this community was positive for approximately the first year. Unfortunately, the handling of these situations, combined with the communication surrounding recent safety concerns and the transition to new management, has significantly impacted my overall opinion of the community.
What I find most disappointing is that after repeatedly documenting safety concerns, threats, and ongoing disturbances, the proposed resolution was not to address the reported issues, but rather to transfer to another unit or leave the community altogether. The repeated statements of "we're sorry" and "we take these issues seriously and want to find a resolution" ultimately felt hollow because they were not followed by meaningful action or an effective resolution.
