This review is here for one sole reason; the HOA here is an absolute joke.

Fair warning: do not live here if you’d like HOA concerns addressed in a calm, professional manner. We raised a concern with the HOA (will spare the details because they’re not important), and it turns out that the person we were complaining about is the HOA President. So naturally there was no conflict of interest when he dealt with our complaint about.. him.

After emailing the HOA, we immediately received a snarky,... unprofessional, hostile email from the HOA President that basically said he’s glad to have never met us and that he’s not going to change his behavior. He left a phone number in his email, so I we called and were immediately cursed out (not kidding) and without letting us get a word in, he abruptly hung up on us.

We then raised the issue of his reaction to the HOA, who basically told us he was having a bad day and was “sorry”. Never in a million years would I be able to act that way in any situation and not have repercussions or accountability - however, at Jack Kerouac, it turns out the “rules” don’t apply if you’re the President of the HOA.

The problem was left unresolved as of now, if you’re wondering.
