Vehicle alarms go off for hours at night
There are a few Buddy 125 scooters parked in the Lynwood Senior Apts parking lot belonging to a resident. Every time it rains, the alarm system on both of these scooters goes off for HOURS. This has kept me and a few others awake at night. This has been happening for almost a year.
No other cars, trucks, or motorcycles in Lynwood nor in the adjacent Lokal Homes community go off. It is only these scooters every single time.
I’ve contacted the management of Lynwood Senior Apts multiple times... starting in September of 2023 asking that something be done about this, and they’ve either brushed it off or said they would speak with the resident. Nothing has changed. Still getting woken up by it.
The most recent occurrence was on the morning of Sunday, May 12th 2024. Alarm started sometime around 4am and kept going for two straight hours. I now know the owner is aware of it because I saw him disabling the alarms with a key around 6am.
If you’re a senior or the loved one of a senior and you’re considering Lynwood, be aware that you’ll be among noisy, inconsiderate neighbors and a management team that doesn’t resolve issues.
