Amazing!
My girlfriend and I moved in a couple of weeks ago and we couldn’t have found a better first apartment to lease. Clean and accommodating the moment we toured and walked in. Our apartment looks practically brand new and I can tell they’ve put a lot of work into remodeling and repairs most places would neglect. Big shoutout to Claudia Garcia for being so helpful and kind during this process, moving is no easy task and she was there every step of the way so make this easier on us. No regrets!

could be better
the apartment it’s self is your landlord special. I can’t say it’s the worst apt I’ve lived in, but not the best. My apartment was not clean at all when I moved in, there was literal hair from someone shaving everywhere, and the counters were stained, floors were scratched, and the carpet was stained as well. Even though I reported it, I was still charged when I moved out. First they do allocated billing and charged me way too much for a single person living alone and not to mention barely ever... home. My garbage disposal was clogged with mold that I had to fix because maintenance took forever to complete a request, or would only half fix till you called again. They refuse to turn on the AC even when my apartment was 80°. The gates only worked half the time I lived there as well so if you were thinking it was extra security it’s not all that great, even go let people in you would have to walk all the way down just to open the gate cause it never worked when they called. The leasing office would ignore your messages no matter how many times you called. Thru had a resident portal to contact them, but no one ever checked it. The front office ladies were rude, or didn’t even know how the apartment functioned. The laundry room was awful, out of like 10 machines only 2 ever worked half the time, and people would take hours to move their laundry so other people could not use it. The machines would catch on fire, or start smoking or leaking and it would take weeks before they were fixed. Fights would break out in the middle of the parking lot and people couldn’t drive around them. I’ve seen multiple cars get keyed while living here as well. You have to get parking passes for all visitors which is fair, but they only had it available in the actual lease office, so if you had someone come over after hours you’re out of luck, and hope they don’t get towed. The other smaller piece if it changes anyone’s mind- is that their stair cases are so small and narrow that you can’t fit normal sized furniture, it all has to be smaller in order to move in. If you’re looking for an apartment that’s cheap, and have to deal with no access to laundry for weeks unless you go to an offsite facility then it might be for you. But I suggest looking anywhere else.

Three year’s experience here at Cwood Apts
I moved here in three yrs ago during the Covid pandemic. When I moved I met a very nice team of management. The lady who I spoke with and dealt with she was overly super nice and seemed caring. Answered every question I asked her and the maintenance was very nice it was I believe when Paul was here. Now it’s 2023 copperwood has went down alot even in management. It’s more about throwing you out rather than working with their residents as they use to. I understand landlords need their money I’m... almost pretty sure copperwood owners are already pretty wealthy or they wouldn’t of worked with their residents from the start. Idk, what happened but it’s definitely changed as I use to be very happy and pleased to learn that I was in a community where I was cared about and respected. Now I’m just the number on my unit and keep it moving. Where when you came home you were glad to be welcomed and loved coming home. Now I can’t wait to remove myself from copperwood. Now, I suggest take a deep look into the atmosphere of the place and all because nine out ten if the place is kept up you’ll likely encounter a staff of people who care. But if not then you know first hand what kind of people your going to deal with and that’s what I’ve learn being here as long as I have… if the property goes down and looks trashy then you know how the staff will be once you reside here. But it took several years before I could say this but at least I learned the truth??

Can’t wait for my lease to end
Genuinely counting down the days until my lease ends…this place is barely liveable. The maintenance team treats me like I am an idiot, to the point I would really rather live with broken things than contact them. The leasing staff does ZERO communication, I have had my water just turned off without any notice. I had to call and ask what was going on for any information. Only after i suggested maybe they should post a notice to let people know did any communication go out. My patio floods and... they didn’t even believe me and have no plans of fixing this even though I called many many times. We are forced to pay amenity fees for no amenities. They have one pool open and have told us the other one would “open this weekend”…the first of June. Still not open. But the fees sure are there. Including fees for their property tax as well as community electricity and water as well as your neighbors. The laundry room is gross and floods when it rains too. The gate is constantly broken then fixed then broken then fixed with again, zero communication. They are money grabbers with the laundry facilities, fobs, and rent. There are tons of extra fees that you are not warned about. I feel genuinely tricked into moving into the complex as the show apartment was 10x nicer than the actual apartment I received. The kitchen is tiny and barely useable. The police constantly are around and the crime rate is high. Definitely not suitable to single females and family’s with children. I wish I could leave and never look back. I am writing this review to try and make sure no one makes the mistake I do. DO NOT MOVE HERE. You will be disappointed and stuck in a lease with everything overpriced to be treated awfully.
