Overall, it's been a good experience
This property is owned and managed by Garden Homes Management. I have lived here for just over 4 years now and for the most part it has been a good experience. My biggest frustration was when the elevator was broken for 8 months in 2013. That might not sound like a big deal in a 2 story building but it's a completely different story when you and your spouse live on the second floor and one of you becomes handicapped....
Anyway, the elevator has since been fixed and other than that it has... been a good experience. We plan to stay for a while. I've never had a problem finding a parking spot in the lot and non-elevator service requests are always addressed and resolved within 1-2 days. Laundry is on the bottom floor and there are certainly enough machines (I've never had to wait). There is also a small gym with cardio equipment and weights if you like to work out. The apartments are small but it's a great starter place for 1 or 2 people and pets are allowed too! Rent might seem a little high but when you realize that you are getting an apartment in a safe neighborhood in Darien with Trader Joe's across the street and compare it with other apartments in the Norwalk/Stamford/Darien area, it's actually quite a deal!
