Awesome neighbors…Quiet neighborhood..Cozy apartments
I just moved here in July. So far my neighbors are awesome. Everyone speaks and you don’t have to worry about deliveries. As for the apartment. Positives are my job is a mile away and so is my kid’s school. I can drop off and get to work in 30 minutes with traffic. The cheap rent, large rooms and closets, and ample parking spots. It’s clean and cozy. My apartment is on bottom floor so I had a few spiders two to three insect invasions in the summer. Part of that might have been the lack of bottom... door cover, which was corrected immediately when I noticed it. Maintenance and office agent Shay are awesome. Response is quick with every request which there hasn’t been a huge amount..example leaky sink, and uneven cabinet. Complaints are the AC and Heating units are loud. Scares you sometimes when they come on and make weird sounds like they are tired. But work effectively. Also floors are extremely squeaky. I can here every step my upstairs neighbor makes. Luckily it’s only one person. Also I can here complete conversations he is having with guest and on the phone when I’m trying to sleep at night. Only way to block is loud white noise to sleep. Or tv when I’m awake. I can’t sleep with the tv on, but my upstairs neighbor does so he doesn’t here his upstairs neighbors. My kid sleeps with tv on and timer shut off after 2 hours. Being a single mother is hard especially since I haven’t got a raise in three+ years so the pros bet the cons for me. Since the complex is basically full I expect the same is fact for other tenants. So I will be staying for a few years at least. Updates cost money which means higher rent costs. I get it, so I’m ok waiting for a while for them.I told the truth and I believe that is important, but some people have no homes right now and are looking for something affordable. I feel I am lucky to be here.. :-)
