Paper thin walls, rude mgmt, poor parking, inept maintenance

HONEST REVIEW HERE!!
I've lived in Georgetown Manor for 3 years. I will not be renewing my lease, and am patiently waiting until my lease ends to move out. There's been about 3 different managers since I moved in and they should've stuck with Michael. The parking is trash, there's not enough spaces for the people that live there to park close to where you live unless you come home by 5 pm and never leave back out because your spot will be gone. There's a tow truck that rides around and tows your… vehicle not only for not having a tag, but any other slight reason they can come up with. They send out paper notices constantly that are always worded very aggressively and spelled incorrectly, they treat You like they're doing you a favor instead of it being a relationship. The mgr is very short with you and speaks to you like she's annoyed you even bothered her, despite the fact that it's LITERALLY HER JOB smh. The walls are insanely thin, I can literally hear my neighbors tv, loud discussions, and anytime someone upstairs walks in their apt ( I live on first floor). They had a pool but it was shut down and recently filled in after the young teenager died in it. The playground is run down and old. The apts themselves are small in the living room, kitchen, and bathroom area but has a decent sized bedroom. I have seen some pests here and there throughout my years here, though there is someone who comes out for pest control. They do the bare minimum required. Calling in a maintenance issue is annoying.I've currently been without heat for five days. Basically, if you don't need anything but a cheap apt to lay your head, you'll prob be happy here. Anyone else, probably should look elsewhere.

roaches...but you get what you pay for?

This is my first apartment, and although i personally didn't want to move in here at first because of the awful reviews and really big roach problem..financially this was my only option. Now i love the fact that we get free water & heat here. Also the renovation with the countertop, cabinets, & floors is nice..but it surely doesn't remove the underlying issue which is ROACHES! It's a shame how they send someone to come in and spray some stupid chemical in your home every so often and it doesn't… even work! ..but what can i say, you get what you pay for right?

Worst apartment ever!

I lived at this apartment building as my first apartment. I had squirrel babies in the walls of my apartment and the maintenance man never came to get them out. I had to keep calling and every time they came they never believe me when I heard the scratching in the walls. One of my neighbors said that a squirrel came out of her wall and ran across her bed while she was sleeping. There was a big roach problem also and not just my building but multiple buildings. It was the worst experience for my… first apartment ever.

Reasonable rent prices.

I have been living here for ten years and i have seen it all from people sleeping in the laundry to dogs pooping in the building,I choose to stay because of the space and the rent at first not going up to fast I went from a one bedroom at $600.00 to a two bedroom from $700.00 and now I pay $795.00 if it goes up any higher I have to move because I don't think theses paper thin walls are worth anything higher thanks and let me be the winner I haven't had a raise in 11 years ins.

I love my first apartment

My apartment is in a quite development, and is close to the mall and shopping centers. My son, wife myself and little brother in law love our new home!!!!
