Just Don't
I lived at the Adeline apartment for 2 years. Like many of the reviewers on here, I had such high hopes when PB Bell took over management. Unfortunately, my experience with this apartment building is one of the worst I have ever had and that is coming from someone who has lived in many states all over the country. Let me break it down for anyone who is considering leasing from here:
1.) Amenities/Cleanliness: This building is less than five years old but has the problems of a decade+ old... structure. The elevators break routinely and are often times out for months. The hallways and common areas reek of dog urine on a routine basis. The washers/dryers in the units do not work well. I could go on but you get the picture.
2.) Parking: If you enjoy having company over this place is not for you. The valet is a nightmare- they lost my keys, totaled my rental car. Resident guests have to park in a tiny lot that is routinely taken up by construction people working on the building and other vendor cars.
3.) This could all be made up for to some extent if the staff was actually helpful and accommodating but this was not my experience. Whenever an issue was brought up, they would say they couldn't do anything and shift the blame to other people. They have no problem coming up with new charges every couple months to pass the costs for this decrepit building on to you instead of actually doing something about it.
Please do your research before leasing here. The positive reviews on here largely stem from gift cards that they offer as an incentive to write good reviews. The beautiful views loose their luster in a couple months but the financial turmoil and quality of life disruptions will linger!

While we recognize your concerns regarding the building... and operations, we would like to clarify that certain responsibilities, such as canceling utilities at the end of a lease, do fall on residents per the lease agreement and utility provider requirements. That said, we appreciate your suggestion to provide clearer reminders during the move-out process and will take it into consideration to improve communication moving forward.
