Vertical North Apartments

Don't waste your time with these apartments. When I first moved in I requested pest control and they took 2 months to close the ticket WITHOUT calling or sending anyone. I ended up spraying myself.

6 months later I opened a ticket for electrical issues, plumbing, and the door handle breaking. They took 2 days to call to come in my apartment. I told them I work from home and they need to send someone BEFORE 12pm and they closed the ticken without fixing anything. Have not sent anyone and the... manager just sits on the phone arguing with you instead of helping. Lee mas

This is the WORST apartment complex I’ve ever stayed at! This place is WAY overpriced for the condition that it is in. The staff is unprofessional and incompetent, they are unable to help with any concerns and answer with attitude. There are 3 staff members supposedly working the office yet it is rarely ever open. My first month here I did not have hot water in the middle of the winter. It took them 3 days to fix probably because the maintenance person was so obviously intoxicated. My balcony... was covered in pigeon poop for months before they finally cleaned it after constant asking. My A/C went out in the summer and again it took days for maintenance to “fix” it. Even after the repair the apartment would not get cooler than 80 degrees. The place has roaches and nobody does anything about it. The apartments may look good with the updates but the building is still old and it shows when you stay here. Do yourself the favor and look for somewhere else. Lee mas

The new manager is so nice and respectful. She always get your maintenance calls either the same day or Tom. Is so nice to have a great manager here and not the other one. The apts are clean and the area always looks fine. Thanx for doing a great job here!

Living in this community has not been a great experience. To start with the water came out yellow when I started the shower. It seemed to someone go away but then the temperature doesn't stay at one temperature it goes from extremely hot to extremely cold without warning no matter what you set it on. They don't have central air conditioning in the unit that I was in so during the summer it was extremely hot until very late at night. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my dog there because of how... hot it was during the day. I had an experience with someone harassing me and following me that I told management about and they did not do anything to help me or show any concern so that was a huge problem for me as a woman living alone or for someone with kids or any safety concerns really. They were helpful in getting me in so if you're in a pinch it will work but I would not recommend it if you have options. Lee mas
