My poor stay experience as a new tenant-1
We moved in here recently, we love the environment here however the management service gives us a very poor experience. There were two typical things that were happening.
The first one:
There is a move-in checklist needed to fill out when we move in, the manager address it needs to turn in by the next day. My wife brought it to the office the next day and asked them to come to our unit to check the details. However the manager told her not to worry, she will arrange the maintenance to schedule... time with us next week. We waited for the whole week without anybody to come. So I encouraged my wife to go to the office to address the fact that we need somebody to come to confirm all the details we wrote on the move-in checklist. My wife went to the office three times without any results and they told her that we don’t need to double check the details, just keep the checklist as proof of materials. It's a waste of our time with what they did and what’s the point with the move-in checklist, and how they deal with the issue that appears in our apartment. Finally, they told my wife we need to wait for them to arrange maintenance to fix the problems, because our issues are not an emergency. That’s ridiculous! We waited for the whole week and they told us to keep waiting. When our problems will be solved if they have emergencies everyday. They just told my wife we need to fill out a form and note the date with a new resident account on their website (this is a brand new thing that they never mentioned before). So my wife negotiated with them to schedule a time for 9:00-10:00am the next day. We kept our patience to wait for them the next day, however nobody showed up until the date we scheduled. We went to the office and wanted them to solve the issue as soon as possible. The manager kept saying our problem was not an emergency and we needed to wait. I was super mad about the way they dealt with and addressedT how they were wasting our time. I almost lost control of my emotions.The manager didn’t realize that’s their responsibility and threatened me that she will call the police. My wife calmed me down and the maintenance finally came. To our surprise,the maintenance worker didn't know anything until the manager called him to come.
