The courtyard and front yard are constantly filled with dog crap. the building is infested with cockroaches and termites. neighborhood isn't the safest to live in. The coda-sac is usually used by neighborhood kids to deal and do drugs.

Happened to stumble upon this quiet and charming building amidst the chaos that is apartment hunting in the Los Angeles area. Upon walking through the gate, you are greeted with a beautiful garden courtyard adorned with palm trees and other native Southern California greenery that feels a little like Central Park inside of the concrete jungle of the city. As you walk down the outdoor hallway that connects all of the apartments, above you and to each side of you are these beautifully kept trees... and flowers all providing shade to cover you as you walk and to cool you from the heat of the San Fernando Valley. Each resident puts their own personal touch on this community courtyard garden and you will find many different varieties of flowers and plants growing here. Even as you walk past the in ground pool and up the stairs to the second level, residents have put out their own potted plants and flowers to keep the garden atmosphere going. This 1960s apartment building has held up well and been cared for with love and it shows. The building features gated parking, air conditioning in each room of your apartment, and an overall family vibe that can't be outdone! Just a short distance from the North Hollywood Train station and Studio City, this apartment gives you the best of both worlds; quaint homey living right in the heart of one of Los Angeles's most thriving neighborhoods.

This apartment complex is small and the owner/landlady lives on site. Maintenance and upkeep have never been a problem. The apartments are affordable and nice enough.
The negatives are few but important. It's not a great neighborhood. I've noticed quite a bit of tagging (gang graffiti) lately. That's why I'm on this website looking for a new home. Also, no dishwashers and I'm ready to not hand wash anymore.
