Charter Oaks Apartments

Former resident, the management now is Brenda, Lauren and Comfort. None of them are good, especially Comfort . He has been at Charter Oaks since around 2023 I believe. He is one of the rudest managers, he is very unprofessional with his attitude, lacks management
and communication skills and has messed up alot of lease paperwork and other things for residents. He talks in a rude, unprofessional
manner to residents. In the last few weeks. he was moved across the street to their... other property and they switched managers, now Lauren is at Charter Oaks. Instead of replacing Comfort, and letting him go, they moved him across to their othet property. He is one of the worst managers and they continue to keep him. He needs to go and there needs a be a change of management. There are residents and visitors who park in residents assigned parking spots with no permission, some residents and visitors who are driving in the parking lot, play their music too loud, mainly you hear spanish music . On a weekly basis, several times a week, there is a unlicensed junk truck driver who continues to drive onto the property and takes what he wants, that the city is suppose to pick that up, not him. He blocks the right away and disturbs the residents with his presence and noise. He is a public disturbance. There is one homeless guy who is seen walking around the property during the day going through the dumpsters, some drive on the property and make a mess in the dumpster areas.. The ground in the dumpster areas are dirty. There are signs posted no trespassing or going through the dumpsters and no one in management or maintenance tells these people to leave the property. Where is the security company they have to take care of all these problems.
The landscaping is not always trimmed back, overgrown plants sticking out over the sidewalk around the buildings. Gave a 1 star because of management and everything else mentioned. Lee mas

Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise prospective tenants to avoid these apartments. The management is extremely unresponsive and difficult to work with, making it nearly impossible to schedule maintenance or receive timely assistance. The issues appear to originate at the top of the management hierarchy, beginning with Brenda and extending down to Comfort, resulting in a consistently poor level of service.

Furthermore, parking conditions are highly inconvenient and pose an ongoing... challenge for residents. Living in this complex has been a deeply frustrating experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Prospective renters would do well to consider alternative housing options.

Tons of crime, graffiti, horrible management, inept maintenance workers. The on-site manager is one of the rudest people I've ever met. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Loudest complex, from bad neighbors who don’t care about anyone else but themselves(loud music and slamming noises) street racing and loud mufflers all day and night up and down the street. Management cannot even enforce their own lease terms. Seems all they care about is spaces being filled. I promise you there are so much better apartments. I’ve never been so happy to move out in the next week. Save yourself

for luxury apartments you won't get a second of quiet. you probably won't get any of the amenities you want and you'll have to pay for the rest. you will literally never get to rest and relax in your own home here. the "landscaped yard" is a joke, just multiple leaf blowings and noise 3x a week for a square foot of dead grass.
