Charter Oaks Apartments

The current management especially Comfort, who has been one of the worst managers since we have been here. He was moved not long ago to St. Charles Oaks, The property manager doesn't see all the mistakes and complaints against him and he is still working here. Higher up management isnt doing that great of a job either. The complex is being run down, there are issues that have been going on around the property for awhile that are not being addressed.. On a weekly basis there is a... driver in a junk truck that keeps driving onto the property who is a public disturbance disturbing the residents, there are dumpster scavengers who walk and drive in the complex and rummage through the dumpsters with their bare hands and make a mess near the dumpsters. The ground in the dumpster corrals are filthy, trash bags and clothes, bedding are dumped on the ground next to the dumpsters. The landscaping needs to be maintained cleared of trash. There are some residents who park in numbered assigned parking spaces without permission. Many complaints have been passed on to management about this issues and nobody in management has done anything to address any of these complaints. Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise prospective tenants to avoid these apartments. The management is extremely unresponsive and difficult to work with, making it nearly impossible to schedule maintenance or receive timely assistance. The issues appear to originate at the top of the management hierarchy, beginning with Brenda and extending down to Comfort, resulting in a consistently poor level of service.

Furthermore, parking conditions are highly inconvenient and pose an ongoing... challenge for residents. Living in this complex has been a deeply frustrating experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Prospective renters would do well to consider alternative housing options.

Tons of crime, graffiti, horrible management, inept maintenance workers. The on-site manager is one of the rudest people I've ever met. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Loudest complex, from bad neighbors who don’t care about anyone else but themselves(loud music and slamming noises) street racing and loud mufflers all day and night up and down the street. Management cannot even enforce their own lease terms. Seems all they care about is spaces being filled. I promise you there are so much better apartments. I’ve never been so happy to move out in the next week. Save yourself

for luxury apartments you won't get a second of quiet. you probably won't get any of the amenities you want and you'll have to pay for the rest. you will literally never get to rest and relax in your own home here. the "landscaped yard" is a joke, just multiple leaf blowings and noise 3x a week for a square foot of dead grass.
