Sea Spray Apartamentos

This is a well maintained building for the most port.. they recently replaced the BBQs and the laundry room is always clean.. They allow small pets and rent on a month to month basis.. It is in a great neighborhood and convenient to everything. The managers are a nice couple. Only complaints are that the parking spaces are very narrow and difficult to get in/out of, the walls are pretty thin and you definitely hear your neighbors, there are fairly regular plumbing issues, and that the mgmt... company automatically deducts $150 from your deposit for cleaning and painting.. We were only there for 3 months, left the apartment in better shape than we got it in, and were told that $150 was the minimum deduction, despite the fact that we left it clean/unscratched and no nail holes. This apartment building is located in a great location. It is close to Victor Elementary and West Torrance High School. It is close to food, shopping and gas stations. One of the great benefits is that pets are allowed. The landscaping is well maintained and there is a nice fountain as you walk into the building. Unfortunately, the common areas are not well maintained. The barbecues are not cleaned on a consistent basis. The laundry room does not have proper matting to prevent slip and falls.... The building is advertised as non-smoking but many of the residents ignore that and you can smell the smoke throughout. The maintenance workers are not considerate of the tenants, often shutting off water without warning and working very early in the morning to well past six in the evening. If they are using a blower to clear walk areas, they will blow dust and dirt all over parked vehicles without a thought to the owners. The building does have a nice pool area with new seating. The building is relatively quiet and is located in a very good part of the city. Lee mas
