I lived in this building for 3 years and sold my condo (for a loss) almost a year ago. The building itself looks ok but was built awfully with cheap materials and flimsy thin dry wall (where you can hear everything through the wall). In addition the condo fees do not cover all of the expenses the condo has and the management regularly has to ask condo owners to pay for “unexpected” expenses out of pocket. The courtyard sprinkler/irrigation system broke and caused a leak into my neighbors apt... and the building manager tried to get her to pay for the expense when it was obviously the fault of the building. The building manager, Monica is awful and not helpful when it comes to anything especially if you plan on renting your apt out (which she once tried telling a prospective tenant that she was paying too much and should find another place to rent). Overall, this is an awful building and there are much better places in the area with much better management. Lee mas

I will move out as soon as my contract expires! I wonder if there exists any regulation in DC limiting construction works? Even on Saturdays you might face annoying construction noise. Building is nice though, but the noise level is a no-go.

I have looked at other reviews for this apartment building, and I'm relieved that I'm not the only one reporting the same issue... the building itself is well-kept, amenities and common areas are great, and no issues (so far) with the apartment... HOWEVER, beware, the building manager is extremely rude on a day-to-day basis. Total deal-breaker for me. Live elsewhere and give your money to another building management company; plenty of options in DC for the amount of money you'd spend to live... here. Lee mas
