My experience applying for a apartment with Crosstown Walk
I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. The apartments look very nice. As a result, I applied for an apartment here in January 2025 because the staff told me it would only take 2 to 3 business days to get an approval or denial. A month passed after I first applied, without them giving me confirmation that my application was approved or denied. Every time I contacted the leasing office, they told me they have not made a decision on my application. Taking a month to process an application... after confirming that it would only take two to three business days is unacceptable. I have good credit and have never had this type of issue processing any type of application before. If they were unable to approve me, they should have denied my application within the time frame that was originally discussed so I could have looked at other apartments. When I requested a refund for my application fee after waiting a full month for them to make a decision, they refused because they only give refunds after application are denied. Their excuse for not refunding me at the time was, even though a month had passed, my application was not denied or approved so no refund could be processed. They essentially just took my money without providing the service promised. 6 months later and I’m still having issues with this company regarding the application fees. At this point, my issue is not about the application fees, I just hate it when big companies try to mistreat and take advantage of normal hardworking people like myself. This has been the worst experience that I have ever had with a company in my life, and I want to make sure other potential applicants are aware of the possibility of potentially having to deal with similar situations with Crosstown Walk if you submit an application here.
