Worse Apartment Experience of my life
Pros: Maintenance team are good hard working people. Cons: Worse apartment experience of my life. Customer/leasing staff unimaginably unprofessional and unqualified. Lived in a cockroach and rat infested apartment for over 6 months and drained my savings account replacing items that rats destroyed. I tried to fix things myself when it comes to most anything that I can before reaching out for help, but the situation was unbearable and unsafe from disease. After months of waiting for a solution... and little in savings, the manager allowed me to move apartments. The new apartment had a broken window and random doors that were never placed, but again I dont really care since it was an improvement. In the meeting with manager, everything seemed fine, but was charged double rent in my next bill and again down payment. Calls were not picked up, had to go in person, front staff was flirting with a guy for 10 minutes before they asked me what I needed and said only manager could help me. Put in request for assistance using online tool and left voicemail, they closed request without helping and never replied. After finally getting a reply, got a second bill for another utility charge and service fee during the transfer. The service fee was from what they said about 4-5 times the utility amount. When I was able to get through to someone they spoke for a long time, then when it was my turn to talk they interrupted me and when I was going to continue they placed me on hold without letting me say what I needed to say. It would be funny if it wasnt so ridiculous. From the start, going into the office is the most painful and hopeless thing you can do. They dont answer phones but when you go in person they are either flirting (saw it twice) or you see the phones ringing and not being picked up. Will try to find a new place when I am able to. Never commented on a place before in Tampa but please use this as a guidance.
