1824 Defoor Apartments

I lived at 1824 Defoor for four years and wanted to love it. The maintenance team is the best part of the community. They work hard, care about residents, and take pride in what they do. I wish the same could be said about management. Real concerns were ignored or met with defensive replies. It always felt like they cared more about optics than the people who live here.

The train noise is constant, often before sunrise. Its comically loud and always woke me up. Floors between units are thin,... so unless you are on the top floor you hear every step above you. Sleep was difficult the entire time I lived here.

The dog park is poorly maintained. Craters formed in the ground, waste was left everywhere, and there were gaps under the fence where my small dog once got stuck. It never felt like there was a plan to keep it clean or safe.

What disappointed me most was the lack of care or follow through from the office. Communication was inconsistent and concerns led nowhere. Tour carefully and ask direct questions before signing a lease. Lee mas

They are exceptionally knowledgeable and provide great customer service. Extremely caring about your experience, and well kept amenities. The community is Always clean and safe not just for you but for your children and pets as well! Beautiful 1 acres dog park and Dog Spa apartment (great perk for dog lovers).

This is the best community I've experience by far in Atlanta. Quiet community ALL DAY, so... it gives you that beautiful serene feel of an Oasis resort in the heart of city away from busy traffic. Great parking for you and your guest(s), Gorgeous Pool (Clean Everyday 24/7) no matter the seasons. Did I say Gorgeous Pool!!!

If you are looking for a place with less staff turnover and exceptional and absolutely gorgeous property upkeep, prompt maintenance response to any request. Friendly Staff that's very caring, quiet community and safe.. I highly recommend 1824 Defoor, as I been here 9 years+...

Location is key so 5 minutes to the highway, shopping and great restaurants are around the corner..... nice perk!

We've had a really positive experience living here for the last 3 ish years! We like the neighborhood, pricing, and familiarity of the staff. The property is very well maintained and the leasing office does a great job communicating when construction or maintenance projects are in progress.

Like any apartment community, there are trade offs that come with being a renter. The gym can get a little crowded and neighbor noise can be challenging. But overall, the service and quality of this... apartment community is solid. Lee mas
