Overall, The Emory is an okay place to live. The location is convenient, the building is generally well-kept, and most day-to-day needs are met without issue. They do a good job of attempting community engagement with activities and events.
That said, the biggest drawback is the lack of proper insulation in both the floors and ceilings. Noise carries far more than it should, and at times it feels like there’s very little buffer between units. With better soundproofing, this could be a... significantly more comfortable living experience.
If you’re looking for something simple and in a good area, it works — just be aware that the noise insulation isn’t great for the price you pay.
