The apartment is tomsmall for the price of the rent
I would say to the new renters...be very careful of your credit report... It's almost as hard to rent than it is to try and be a owner...
The landlord is looking for high credit scores or they move to the next renter... They show NO mercy...
AVOID being evicted at all cost... it will follow you forever... You will need as much cash to rent than you will if you are making a down payment on a house... they ask for everything but your 1st child...
It gets worse if you have a pet... You have... to pay a Heavy pet deposit to bring a pet with you and a lot won't allow pets...
Make sure there is a parking space with the rental unit and make sure it's in the lease...
After you sign the lease make sure you walk through the apartment with the landlord or Management Company... When it's time to move if it's not written down they get amnesia...
Lastly, make sure the building is cable ready... You will watch rented DVD movies for a month...
The new scam is Move in Fee in place of the deposit or security... The move in fee is just about as much as the security deposit but it's non refundable...A complete rip off...
