West Haven Park II - B

I have been trying to get a hold of the people running this place for a month now. I have just started a job in the city and need housing asap, and I am a very busy person. I am unable to just walk in during the week as I work the same hours that the office works. I have called several times and only just got through, the person on the other end telling me "this is not apartment (sic)" and just hanging up. Very wasteful of people's time to not respond to several emails and have the incorrect... phone number listed. Lee mas

I accepted a job offer in Chicago this week and Westhaven seemed to be the perfect spot to live in relation to the job. I tried calling yesterday to try to make arrangements to see the available apartments but got no answer, just an answering machine that said that they allow walk-ins, so I put them on the list to see today since I was driving in to look at places. Well, they look great from the outside. They have neither any units currently available despite their posting here, nor do they have... any openings in the foreseeable future, and they don't have a model that's available to see either. My apartment is in the West Loop community and it is centrally located near everything! A multitude of restaurants, night spots, and Union Park where we have live concerts, sporting events and other great activities, including EXERCISE!! Most importantly I LIVE two blocks away from the United Center!!!! There is always something to do in the West Loop, I am NEVER bored. I am not rich, by a long shot, but my rent is reasonably priced for the amenities I have. A/C, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, living... room, dining room & Kitchen and a private security service and Chicago Police who we can depend on no matter the situation. I am blessed to be living in this area, but there will come a time, especially with the booming economy that is bringing in higher economic backgrounds, I might not be able to afford this community soon...
