The Prairies Apartment Homes

These have got to be some of the worst apartments in Indianapolis. Nothing works and maintenance is horrible. They are going through management changes right now but I doubt that will change anything. For the amount of money you have to pay to live here you’d think things would be better. Oh did I mention the roach infestation. Be prepared to bomb spray and fight for your territory.

Living here has been one of the worst experiences. The property is not maintained and full of insects, while the online images do not match reality. There are no nearby stores, and the rent is far too high for what you get. The office staff is unhelpful and rude, and the complex is not ADA compliant. Neighbors are loud and inconsiderate, and overall upkeep is terrible. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere — this place is absolutely not worth the price.

This apartment complex is completely uninhabitable. The location is terrible — you absolutely need a car just to survive here. There are no stores, restaurants, or basic amenities within walking distance. The only things nearby are two gas stations, and the nearest grocery store is about 8 miles away. For the price they charge in rent, the quality of living is shockingly low. This apartment complex is poorly managed and poorly maintained. Repairs take weeks or are ignored, and when done, they’re low quality. Common areas are dirty, landscaping is neglected, and sidewalks are cracked and unsafe.

The units are small for the high rent, and prices keep rising with no improvements. The property is not ADA accessible, making it difficult for residents with mobility needs.

Walls and floors are thin, so noise travels easily. Carpet in the living room is only available in... second-floor units, limiting choices.

Some neighbors are loud and rude, and management does nothing to address complaints. The combination of high costs, bad maintenance, unsafe walkways, poor accessibility, and inconsiderate neighbors makes this place far from worth the price. Lee mas

Only 1 month into my lease and three major issues.
1. Crickets and insects all over the place
2. Maintance is the worst and something broke in my bathroom and the main office said there is a gas leak and it will be fixed when that gets done.
3. Didn't get a spare key to my front door and in a month no mailbox key. B.S. on having to go to the post office to get the mailbox key.

Bad place, don't move here.
