Southfield

This place is honestly frustrating. They only seem to care about one group of people, and the rest of us get ignored. They force you to pay $20 for someone to take out your trash when you can easily do it yourself. The parking is terrible — there should at least be assigned spots so every household gets one. There’s even a handicap space that never gets used while the rest of us have to park super far away. Most nights I’m parking by the leasing office instead of anywhere near my door.

I’ve... also been waiting months for my situation to be resolved, and still nothing. Maintenance will come in, say something is fixed, and then you come home to find out it’s still not done. Overall, the communication and the service here are really disappointing. Lee mas

Living here has been pretty good, however we have notice the shift in residents. Seem like much younger families with lots kids. My building and staff are pretty good. Quite few neighbors allow dogs poop on grass and leave when plenty of doggie bags on property.

Lived here for years and have had no real issues. The foundation is paper-thin, though; it feels like we have roommates and not neighbors. The staff is friendly. The appliances could use some updating.

Southfiels is a great community, quiet and clean, and it was very easy to complete all the steps to move in; the staff were very helpful and friendly.

I’m glad I selected Southfield as my residence. The Staff has been supportive and the maintenance response has been great. I felt this when I moved in and I still feel that way 3 years later.
