Worst Living Experiences — Avoid if You Can
Avoid this place if you can. In July 2025, the complex began an AC “upgrade” but failed to tell tenants we’d have no AC for days during a major heatwave. I spent nearly a week in a third-floor apartment hitting 90–100°F inside with no backup cooling, no hotel reimbursement, and no alternative plan - a clear disregard for tenant safety.
When the new unit was installed on July 8, it leaked from the ceiling, shorted outlets, gave off strange chemical smells, overflowed water onto the floor, and... even shocked a maintenance worker. Contractors used the wrong parts, left work incomplete, and communication between management, contractors, and staff was almost nonexistent. The on-site maintenance team and Stephanie from the main office were kind and professional - the problem was top-down mismanagement. It took a month for the AC to be fully functional. In the hottest month of summer.
Other issues:
• Maintenance: Often patch jobs, like tinkering with a broken fan that still doesn’t work, or wiping mold without fixing the cause.
• Management: Avoids accountability, hard to reach, and often dismissive.
• Buildings: Poorly insulated (expect $400/month electric bills), mold on doors/windows, balconies in disrepair, amenities rarely available.
• Water: Random shutoffs without warning, brown/orange with debris.
• Safety & Location: High noise from airports, trains, and highway; frequent crime; multiple apartment fires in recent years.
You’ll pay high rent for below-basic housing, endless problems, and management that leaves residents to fend for themselves. Even if you love the location, the stress and expense aren’t worth it. This place is all about cutting costs at the expense of residents’ safety and comfort.
