The Crescent at 161 Apartamentos

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex. The units are not maintained as it is but we as tenants have to deal with sooo many inconveniences. When I first did my application and paid my deposit, my move-in date was changed about 3 times. Also during that time I was having issues with the rent cafe app and the manager was basically unwilling to help til I called rent cafe while in her office so she could hear the rent cafe rep advise she had to send in a... request to have issue fixed. All of this was within the first couple of months I moved in. Now fast forward to May...my mail has recently started not being delivered. Spoke with Post office here in Walls and she advised a man came into their office on yesterday asking about his mail from my address. I informed the Post office that there isn't a man that lives here. She suggested maybe it was an old tenant. Called office and they would not confirm or deny if mailbox keys from previous tenants had been turned in. They stated my lock to mailbox would be changed today. There is soo much inconvenience going on at this point as I am awaiting important documents. I would save myself the headache rather than moving here.

The property manager and the entire staff are understanding and willing to help in any way they can! All it takes is great communication. The service is 100% satisfaction every time I have an issue. Quiet neighborhood/ clean environment, definitely recommend.

I went to visit a friend and wanted to inquire about the possibility of renting. DON’T!! I noticed that all appliances were old and worn out, the cabinets are hung upside down, there is a hole in the floor underneath the linoleum they laid before he moved in. The paint is the landlord special. Bugs, dust, black mold nothing was cleaned up before being painted over. They recently repainted outside and the paint is coming off. I’ve witnessed the laziness and inattentiveness of their maintenance... first hand. The sinks were not replaced when messed up they just painted them to cover it. If you have an emergency with for instance the A/C they won’t come fix it. So the emergency line is pointless. The photos on the websites are old photos of when it was goat built. The pool looks like crap. The playground is in disrepair, the ponds are in disrepair. The parking is a nightmare even for residents. The office people are never there or if they are you are the biggest inconvenience to them. Trash everywhere. They raise the rent every six months and no improvement of property. Even the office update was half assed and looks terrible. They had some guys redo the parking areas and they did a crap job. They claim to have rules but don’t enforce them. They will also make sure to make it impossible to rent from them. The his is directly from myself and a current resident. If you can afford better do so. For your own good follow my lead and stay far away from these apartments!!!!!!!!!! Lee mas

I am done doing business with this company. I suggest you don't ever. They charge for amenities that you cannot use. They are never in the office. This place has gone down quick. Rent went up though. I dare you to call and get someone on the phone state that you have a problem see how they respond.
