The Town of Beech Mountain does a great job clearing snow off the main roads quickly in the winter months, but it is highly recommended to have 4WD or AWD to access Beech Mountain. During winter months, bringing snow chains is highly recommended. The stairs in the townhouse are very steep, so ensure that children, especially toddlers, are careful and use handrails.
