Chalet Gardens Apartments

I lived here for 5 years. When I first moved in the leasing office was nice but that's it. Since then, there's new owners but head leasing agent is soooo rude. When i first moved in there were rodents and raccoons scratching my pipes. I called for assistance, and they accused me of lying. Then I found a hole in my building and took pictures and that when they decided to fix it. Also, my ac wasn't working, it took them 6 months to respond. When they did come out summer was already over The AC and... heat worked in every room but the bedroom. They claimed it was because I had to shut all my vents to get it in the bedroom. That did not work. I had to swap my bed with the living room because it would get so hot in the summer I couldn't sleep in there. Every time I put a request in for an issue with my apartment they would not come out unless I called them every week until someone would show up. Don't even get me started on the trash. Theres trash everywhere people don't always throw their trash in the bins they put it outside the bins. Cats and raccoons get into them, and the trash goes everywhere. BEWARE of broken glass in the grass all over the property. kids and pets play in the grass not realizing how much broken glass in there. Also, they Told us they would be putting in a dog park in 2020 that never happened to this day they claim on the website to have one it's a LIE. POLICE come to the apartments almost every other day for domestic issues. Theres been many times you hear neighbors screaming and fighting then cops arrive. Kids around the apartments have keyed my cars and a rental car i had. They claim that everyone has their own personal water bill, but it doesn't make sense seems more like everyone in your building is splitting the bill, $80 on water bill monthly even when I wasn't there most of the month because I was in Africa. Also, not a gated community like they claim. Used to be sort of gated but it's not. Leasing hours are horrible they set it up so the typical person can't come in because its during normal business hours. If you do decide to move here and you have an issue and they are dragging their feet to fix, find the city of Pinehill inspectors that drive around you can't miss them within the complex, report them they will come fix the issue asap. I have lived here for 14 years and it is the best development in this area. Very spacious with all the amenities you need. The one thing I like best is how quickly the maintenance department responds to my request. I want to especially thank Mr. Cory for all he do . He is quick to respond and complete my request. He is very professional and always seems happy to assist. Thank you Cory keep up the great work you do.

Just plain awful place to live at. I was there for 5 years, thank God I finally moved out. past management wasn’t bad, some of the people in the office lacked of manners and had a loud mouth. Present management is horrible but the girls in front desk were very professional. Good luck trying to get something fixed. I had work orders from February and never got done, maintenance guys are terrible, they will go into my apartment without permission, claiming to work on a work order totally different... from what I requested. We felt like we had no privacy, I called the office and reported the guy, the lady in the office said he made a mistake, I called 3 times about the same issue, and nothing was solved. My apartment was sideways do to a sinking problem in the complex, they raised the bottom unit and my apartment got destroyed, I was embarrassed to have friends come over, I lived like that for 7 months, I made 4 work orders witch NEVER NEVER got done. The units are not properly sealed so you have spiders and crickets coming into to the apartment all the time in a ridiculous way. They said there’s nothing they can do because it’s a wooded area. My ac went out 3 times in 2 years after the 3rd time guy came and said it was fixed, I got home on a hot day and the ac was still out, I decided to go with ac window units witch at the end it was cheaper for me. Loud neighbors at night is the biggest issue. Cops get called all the time. Yes they new renovated units look nice but it doesn’t change the horrible maintenance and lack of attention to the tenants problems. I think it’s hilarious how someone answers to the reviews to the people who already left with a bad experience. Management kept a portion of my deposit claiming an improper disposal of trash, HOW ABOUT YOU GIVE ME SOMETHING ETRA BACK FOR NOT FIXING ANYTHING WHILE I WAS PAYING EVERY MONTH!! And don’t be fooled by the staff being friendly and extremely nice at the begging, once you sign the lease, God help you. Lee mas

I moved into rug beetles and my door wasn’t even fully painted. Apartment had trash from last tenant out back and front. Trying to get ahold of maintenance is a joke. On top of that I’m not that impressed with the remodeling I’d rather the old with the same rate. Not worth it at all. Couldn’t even understand the guy on the phone for maintenance!

i just wanna say how nice the new changes have been! we have only been here for two years, but the changes are out of this WORLD! i do wish the gym would open soon, bc everyone is really excited for it. the new office staff is so nice! they did keep the older lady and i would recommend anyone to just deal with the manager or the leasing staff bc she can yell and talk over you......... but it really is changing and my boyfriend and i love it now!
