I would highly recommend not to stay here nor refer anyone. I totally agree with everything yall say. I have worked here for years and it's a shame we really don't have a corporate office. Everything is sent through email and they dont respond there's nothing much to do. Info@westlandreg.com is where you can send complaints to. And unfortunately the workers lie only to hold onto the little money you paid for the deposit. Like saying people moved into your unit after you've been gone and post... pictures not of your actual unit. There is junkies running rapid on the property breaking into vacancies and they blame you for it. When you call they never answer sent straight to a call center but if I could help others not to make a regret I truly hope this helps. We also have asbestos and the water is infested only buying bottled water is best. If you choose to stay it's generally not a safe, pleasantable, great experience to live in if you don't have to. I called the office about a lease renewal issue twice. they seemed understanding on the phone and told me they would forward it to the manager. the manager was supposed to get back to me in in 2 or 3 days. i haven't heard anything in 2 weeks.
the lease issue was the office forwarded me a lease renewal offer which had my name and and another name. i have lived alone here for 2 years, always paid rent on time and my prior leases had been under my name only. I asked them to correct the issue... before the lease expired. they did nothing. i signed the lease but it was never forwarded to the office. now the office told me i am on month to month at a much higher rate.
it is common sense to have a tenant on yearly lease rather than month to month. the only benefit is i only have to give 30 days notice before moving out which i might do. the office has been closed since covid so nobody can talk to an agent in person. they might have done this to put me at a much higher rate to make up for their high vacancy rate. who knows but i am suspicious. I called and emailed the management about upgrading my apartment so many times and I’ve never gotten a reply. I’ve gotten an eviction notice on my door after I had called or emailed someone in the office about being late on rent (I was late only one time). And I called the next day and she told me that she’ll write a note. I’ve been here for about 8 months now and I can’t wait until my lease is up so I can move out. There’s roaches in my living room and kitchen and my bathroom and I’m a clean... person. If you’re thinking about moving here don’t. I honestly thought that I’ll have a washer and dryer and dish washer, but this apartment doesn’t have one in unit for a one bedroom. They didn’t even tell me that the one bedrooms don’t have a washer dryer or dish washer in the unit. They gave me a card and I have to put money on it in order to use the washer and dryer in the facility. I’ve been renting a few apartments for a couple of years and I feel like this one is the worst of the few that I’ve lived in Lee mas

Beware!! Save your money!! After spending $140 they denied me for some eviction on my record for 2018.. when I have never been evicted before in my life!!! A background check done within a couple hours and not accurate?!?! Really?!? How unprofessional!!!

I lived here for a year and it was my first apartment. I was looking for a rent that was not crazy expensive so that I could save but just to save a couple hundred I regret living here. Some of the staff members, Liliana & Rocio were horrible people to work with. Liliana lied about the work orders I would submit to maintenance by saying they were “working on it” when she was too lazy to relay the message to maintenance & do her job as they didn’t even know what I was talking about. I had to wait... weeks for something to get done. Rocio had a disgusting attitude and showed no empathy towards anything I was saying to her. I had to purchase countless bottles of RAID to kill what seemed thousands of roaches because their fumigation would only bring more roaches to the party. They would fall on my head while showering. They were in my fridge & FREEZER. I had to throw away so much DRY FOOD like RICE out because they were everywhere. In the room, in the living room. The smell was penetrated in my home. Worst place I’ve ever lived in. They don’t show any empathy or concern towards tenants. At first it’s all unicorns & rainbows until you move in. They only want your money and won’t take care of you or anyone for that matter. Lee mas
