The building has a very poor upkeep!
Gross Repair skills, My toilet broke water everywhere, the inside of the toilet was corroded super gross, so is the flange. Instead of replacing the toilet with a new one. They decided to replace the toile, with a old one, that was less corroded.
Also, they mop the hallway floors with Windex!
I hate it here!

Buildings owners do not care of decent tenants and senior citizens We are tenants who been renting a long time decades! Roach and Mice invested in hallway and apts. They don't clean, mop or disinfect stairwells it's very dirty building!! They don't do repairs, paint or even ask if needed. They have let in/rented to hood rats who deal drugs are loud and very dispruted playing loud music hanging out in the hallways and exit entry getting high!! Also bringung and subrenting to people who are... not on the lease!!!! Bringing trash to the building!!! You complain to super he does not care and does not want to be bothered! We end up calling NYC police department because of safety Issues! Horrible unhealthy conditions and unsafe!!!! Lee mas

When I am feeling low or in despair, I look out of my window to the North,East, and or West. I see the blessings of Gods work. Regardless of the season my view is awesome, Imagine this, at treetop level as I look into Van Cortlandt Park. What is being revealed to me, is either a visible blanket of barren limbs; or snow covered rolling tops; layout of green leaves or the yellow, orange,and or reddish orange appealing leaves, reminding one of a seasonal picturesque layout on post cards or... calenders! You are held spellbound! Think of it this way, meditating with your eyes open or day dreaming. In my opinion Van Cortlandt Park is revealing a layout of a visible blanket of life as its going out or coming in with the changing the seasons, this is unbelievable. Viewing from north/east, at twilight I am captured by the sunrise revealing its radiating energy for the day a cleansing as were. Also to the East the vehicle traffic on 87 north and south bound Twilight or sunset indicates to me that all are up with energy for the day,or all are being put to rest but not to sleep! Remember it is said that this a city that never sleep. I imagine the buildings to the East and West were images in the mind of an architect, moving that mental picture onto paper and sharing the message thats to be interpret by builders. This was important for me to mention this first. But it goes without saying I live in a perfect location its a three to five minute walk for public transportation. The building is maintained well, the staff is very helpful! The neighbors are wonderful. Restaurants are great. Supermarkets and other stores are within walking distant, as well as outdoor space.
