The Cameo Apartamentos

Bar none, they have been the ABSOLUTE WORST property mgmt company I have ever dealt with.

When our appliances failed, mgmt took nearly a month to remove/replace them. We literally had to vacate the apt for days. Management ignored us in the meantime.

When our front door needed maintenance, we are convinced mgmt's maintenance staff damaged the lock and a couple days later we were locked out of our apt due to failed lock tumbler. We had to pay hundreds of dollars for an emergency locksmith and... mgmt refused to reimburse saying sorry it was too expensive (despite being reassured by staff that we would be reimbursed).

When our heat failed this past winter (the first of many times each year), maintenance literally said to me "you might not get heat back until the spring". It took them a week to restore heat to the apt only for it to fail days later, again and again. Management refused to accommodate or assist us in any way.

They advertise the Cameo as a luxury, renovated bldg...but the appliances, utilities, and structure are old and failing.

It cost us an enormous amount of money to live in building with constant issues and horrible management.

Learn from our mistake.

I have lived in the Cameo for about a year, and I do not recommend this building. The day we arrived with the moving truck, the unit was filthy and equipment was still in the living room. The management offered no apology. We have had issues with mice and roaches. The front desk staff is not professional. There are clearly many people using the units for short term, Air BnB type rentals. The hallways carpets are filthy, and management promised to replace them but never did. I do not recommend... renting in this building. They charge luxury prices but do not deliver luxury quality or service. Lee mas

I am upset that such a large organization has behaved as such, first of all my young children and husband needed convenient location and I was willing to pay top dollars for such in a newly renovated apartment, however I would have never paid top dollar if I was told complete renovations to the buildings apartments surrounding us was going on. Further more, a major leak occurred at 1am with the fire department coming BUT NO one from the building. The construction workmanship is not up to... standards even the tile in bathroom is coming off and this is extremely new renovations.
it advertises doorman and 24/7 concierge, but only one person at front is actually friendly (and he's not there everyday) all others never have been able to help, stating you need to call who you booked with --what why don't you work here.
I would never recommend this company-right now they are asking us to move so they can fix the apartment but not giving us any discount??? help- stay away won't want anyone else to feel this way Lee mas
