Unsafe, Unresponsive, and Not Worth the Stress
I moved into this apartment complex on December 31, 2024, expecting a safer community and an upgraded unit — what I got was the complete opposite.
Since move-in day, my AC unit has never worked properly, leaving my apartment at temperatures averaging 83–90 degrees inside. I reported it multiple times, even submitted a formal 14-day demand letter, and yet nothing meaningful has been done. Meanwhile, I’ve had to spend my own money on... fans just to stay somewhat cool.
Management also enforces strange and excessive lease rules, including one that bans reverse parking and another that restricts certain words being used — which feels like a serious overreach. These rules were not clearly explained to me at move-in, and enforcement seems inconsistent and targeted..
Please think twice before moving here. A nicer neighborhood means nothing if your home is unlivable and management refuses to fix it.
I would also note my daughter was murdered just 6 blocks away and news outlets wanted to help tell her story and management made it ever clear News Outlets are not aloud on the property at all.
And the police officer that live on the property doesn't interact with residence. The police car parked is a scare tactic and its so quit because of rules in the lease, I mean each their own but I going on my experience.
