Georgetown Apartments

These apartments are extremely roach infested. Not the occasional roach here and there; They are everywhere. They are on the counters, in the sinks, in the dishwashers, hiding out in the microwave, hiding out in the electrical outlets, in the bathroom. EVERYWHERE.

Roach infested from the day we moved in. Exterminator comes “once a month” but we get the notice and they never show up. Been repeatedly asked for illegal drugs here & the neighbors are up all hours of the night building stuff and fixing their cars. It’s not all terrible, it’s pretty hidden and not a lot of commotion, the unit is nice. Huge bedrooms and closets and the bathrooms are nice, but pretty small kitchen/living area. It feels pretty safe overall, that’s just tahlequah for you. Except... the roaches, they need to start paying some rent if they’re staying because honeys you gotta go! I didn’t sign a lease to live with that nor am I tryna take them with me. That’s the worst part about the building I’d say. Lee mas

This place is rampant with cockroaches. They only spray about once every 6 months and the bugs are still not taken care of. There are no pets allowed but people still have them. The kids that live there have absolutely trashed the place and there is trash and toys everywhere. The people that lived above us stomped around at all hours of the night and had kids that would run and tackle each other so that it sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. I'd rather deal with pets than the... nasty and noisy kids that run around at all times. Lee mas

We never had any trouble besides lack of maintenance. Our dishwasher never worked from the moment we moved in, which wasn't a problem until the disposal just quit just a couple months after the end of our lease. Our upstairs neighbors' dishwasher was broke as well so it rained in the kitchen. But as our first place it certainly wasn't the worst, spiders were the main bug problem, and neighbors had animals they weren't supposed to, but it's peaceful, lots of trees, and right next to the highway... and very close to the college. 3 Stars, plain and simple.
