Willow Creek Apartments

Let me just get the bad out of the way. It is right next to a highway and train so certain apartments towards the highway will have lots of traffic noise. The 2 bed 2 bath apartments have the master bath sink in the actual bedroom. It's strange but I hear this is common. The kitchen is a bit small but also I am very picky and take up lots of space when I cook (okay I really just destroy a kitchen when I cook and smaller spaces mean more destruction).

The good is that the place is pet friendly,... there are even dog disposal areas right on pathways, theres a nice little basketball court that I used once. Bought a brand new basketball that now sits deflated in storage. Speaking of, lots of storage space! The 1 bedrooms have a little mini storage area and the 2 beds use that for a giant walk in closet that I absolutely loved (just moved this mont right in the nick of time to avoid the apocalyptic smoke coming from the fires). The apartments come with a washer and dryer and that's a huge bonus! Plus a microwave and dishwasher. Things I absolutely cannot live without! Its pet friendly and has large windows with windowsills that my 2 cats loved sitting in and watching the birds from. The price is pretty much the same as most places in Albany and for it, the place really isn't bad at all.

Now for the beautiful. I have to say the community. Not just Albany itself, which I loved wholeheartedly, but the apartment complex. I go between social butterfly and hermit. You can be anything at this comex. Don't feel like dealing with people? You can be left alone. Feel like barbecuing with the neighbors and having a good time hanging out on the lawn? Well you can do that too. Everyone there is accepting. The best person above all is the apartment manager Katie. I think she really made that place a home. She works hard to make sure that every need is taken care of immediately and with as little inconvenience as possible. She truly deserves a raise or promotion. Every time I seen her she would greet me with a smile! I've had apartment managers in the past that are so grumpy and cold that I just shelled up the moment I came into contact with them. With Katie, she truly made me feel welcome! She is a very honest and kindhearted person who really goes above and beyond for that apartment complex. I wish she could be the manager of every apartment I ever live in. Lee mas

All the units are very well taken care of inside and outside, staff are friendly. They keep these pet friendly units clean and tidy.I live on upstair unit which has cool sloped high ceiling and has very good lighting all day long. Convenient access to highways and located in the heart of Willamette Valley.
