Private bedroom in a lovely old 1850s farmhouse 30 minutes from York, 45 minutes from Lancaster, and an hour from Baltimore.

Rent includes a private room as... well as full access to the kitchen, laundry room, two shared bathrooms, plenty of parking, outdoor space, and covered porches. Internet and utilities are included, no pets please. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils and appliances that are shared and free to use.

The house is out in the country which is quiet and peaceful. You can see the stars at night and a beautiful sunset from the front porch in the evenings. There are only minimal commercial shops nearby so you will need a vehicle to make it “into town” for any amenities.

A few people are currently living in the house together as well as a few resident cats. Everyone has their private spaces but come together once in a while to chat, hang or make dinner.

Folks have different schedules so there is always some level of activity, but for the most part it is quiet and a generally chill vibe.

House is close to Otter Creek Nature Preserve, Indian steps museum, A wildlife sanctuary and many walking trails. Local farms abound with veggie and fruit stands in season. Don't miss the local wine trails.
