Stonecrest Apartments

I lived here for one year and had no issues!! Very quiet, safe place for a single mom & two kids!

Overall in Gaffney, SC I would have to say these are the nicest apartments to live in.
The main overall concern is during the summer the pool is hardly ever opened due to the maintenance staff, and overall the performance of the property management staff! I have a family with children and every week for 1-2 days the pool is closed for some bazaar reason!
1-2 tiles will be unhinged and they will literally close the pool for the ENTIRE day! There is no form of communication to inform guest that... they are closing the pool, or when the pool will reopen.
I will get the entire family ready to swim (suits on, sunscreen applied, floats blown up, life preservers on) to get to the gate and see the little sign that’s says pool closed! This is not the first time this has happened, and it’s very frustrating!
We now have 2 pools at this complex, but the new pool on site has yet to open and its July already! Today is the 4th of July and our pool once again is closed!
As a tentat I feel the property manager would ensure that one pool would be working and acceabke to their tentates because of the other pool having so many issues! The pool is not priority because they are not the ones who get their children ready to swim and have to deal with the disappointment and the let downs again and again! I would not be writing this review if this problem would had only occurred once or twice! But NO! This is an on going issues and since we have lived here the pool has been closed for at least 1-2 days per week and that’s me being nice!

It seems like they don’t care or take into consideration how it feels to not have access to a guests amenities.

It’s quite frustrating to pay for something that can rarely be used!
The pool isn’t cleaned like it should be (there will be debris everywhere, and it’s very small)
In Gaffney, SC there are not an local places to swim, so my family and I were very excited to have a pool to accessible! We were sadly mistaken!
When you see the maintenance staff, they act like it’s such a burden or a nuisance and it almost seems like they would rather just close it instead of fixing the issue in a timely manner!
We will be looking for another apartment location until my husband gets transferred!
To pay for amenities that are closed more than opened, to have no formal communication that the pool is and will be closed (is ridiculous), and for the office staff to not manage this situation better is completely bizarre! Lee mas

I have been living here for almost three years and every time I've had any issues...they were promptly addressed. The property Manager is efficient, professional and prompt with getting things done. It isn't easy to manage 198 units and keep everyone happy, as well as maintain high standards, but she does it quite well.

Stonecrest apartments in Gaffney is a great place to live! Super nice with lots of amenities on site. You're close to everything but you don't have the city living feel. The staff is super friendly and on top of things very quickly. Prices are well worth what you get. Come join us! You'll love it here!
