Poor upkeep. Mold and roaches. Damages to apt not fixed.

The Grove has nice floor plans, the landscape is aesthetically pleasing, the staff is decent, maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner and overall I like it here. I like the grey and white color scheme and massive porches. I would really enjoy my porch if I didn’t have to be harassed by insects, it’s screened in but yet centipedes, frogs, and palmetto bugs finds there way on my porch. But there is too many snakes and raccoons for me to be comfortable here. If there was more control... or preventative measures for this concern I wouldn’t look any further when it comes to apartment living. Also I wish the appliances where updated, a built in microwave and some stainless steel should be standard for the price you pay to live here. I would still recommend this complex to friends but I would be forced to keep it real and let them have my transparent opinion. My hopes for The Grove is to find this review constructive and to improve the conditions in this complex, this place could be seriously top notch. Lee mas

Our unit was not move in ready on Aug 29, today is Sept 12 and it is still not move in ready. Per property manager they have 14 days to get a unit ready when a tenant move which it wasnt dont and it's been 14 days since our move in date. The hole in the wall hasn't been fixed the cabinets are dirty and stained the flooring is dirty the stove is dirty and rusted along with the door hinges. The countertops just got completed on 9/8 which led resulted in us having to sleep in our car because the... fumes were too toxic and Valerie Ellus the property manager didnt communicate effectively. The bathtub were completed today which the contractor informed us that we can't use the bathroom for 24hrs yet again poor communication from property manager. We are still living out of a bag after being here 2 weeks to the day and no one has a definitive answer as to when my unit will be fixed. Please please do not move here, it is not worth the money and dont believe the nonsense they try to sell when applying Lee mas

You’ll hit a pot hole at least once coming home but the apartment is big and the rooms are far apart which I love. Down side noise complaints fall on empty ears….. amazing starter apartment bc you’ll fall in love with the location

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! Bug infested with staff and property manager(s) that could careless. Me and my significant other have been living here for 5 months and we have had bug (various species of cockroaches that FLY, water bugs, etc.) issues since day one. Pest control has come by numerous times within the time we have lived here with no resolution. Things have actually gotten worse. We recently found this lizard, the size of a baby snake, in our 4 month old son’s room and that was the last straw... as the safety of our son is what matters most. I have called the office twice to transfer units (I was told by a female representative that this could be the next step) but no one has reached back out to us about this matter. I was told both times the property manager was being informed and they would call back the same day with information. It has been over a week now. They all seem to not care but we pay good money to NOT live comfortable. Pest control should be a preventative with some level of control inside and outside but it’s NOT here. Save your money and sanity. Lee mas
