Cannon South Apartamentos

Wonderful complex, safe, affordable, great location. Marie cares about the tenants and is super responsive. The best apartment I’ve lived at in Austin by far.

I have lived at Cannon South Apartments for almost three years and it has truly been a peaceful and affordable place to call home. The complex is quiet and well cared for, which has made my time here very enjoyable.

Marie is always available to help and just a text away whenever I have questions. Her support and responsiveness have been a big part of why I feel so comfortable living here. Hector is also a dedicated and hardworking member of the team who helps keep our community in excellent... condition.

Thanks to both of them, Cannon South feels like a safe and welcoming place. I am grateful to be part of this community. Lee mas

I have been at cannon south since 6/2022 and have loved every second of living at this property. We had recent plans to move to a different area of town which i was incredibly sad to do so because i just loved it here. Our plans fell threw unexpectedly (thankfully) ;) and i reached out to Marie our lovely property manager and she was able to get us set up in a new space within a day. She goes above and beyond for the residents. If you have a question she is so quick to respond and is a real... problem solver. Hector our awesome maintenance man is lightning fast I have never once had to wait for maintenance nor questioned if the job would get done. I can put in a request at 8am and by the time I'm home from work the job is complete. The property is always clean, the pool is sparkling year around, and all of our neighbors are just wonderful. The apartments are adorable with beautiful rose bushes and blooming trees and they work really hard at making sure they are constantly evolving and adding new features to the property for the residence. I was only here the first 3rd of the year as I had to move, but my time here at Cannon South was lovely from beginning to end. The property manager Marie was very outgoing and helpful when I was signing my lease, and she was always very responsive during my stay. The complex itself is cute, small, and maintained very well.
Though the star of the show has to go to my man HECTOR!! I have never experienced such fast maintenance and I don't think you can get any better unless the guy is standing... outside your door at all times. If your AC breaks down during a heat wave, you definitely don't have to worry about being stuck in a miserably hot apartment.
The only negative thing I can say is, if you're on a first floor apartment, bugs are a possibility. It's kind of inevitable wherever you are though, as I've had to realize. Management was quick to help though and they will send out pest control to spray INSIDE the apartment to really get the issue resolved.
Now for my favorite thing about Cannon South overall: ... THE KITTIES! If you're a cat person like me this complex is heaven. They often roam around at night and they're friendly too! They also probably serve as secondary pest control! ?? Lee mas

I had been searching for an apartment in Austin for several months with no luck. I had to be for a job in May this year. It was becoming difficult since most apartments were six months out from availability or the rent was extremely high, much more than what I was budgeting. I thought I was going to find roommates or pay a higher rent. Luckily I came across Cannon South Apartment, where Marie has been the most helpful person I have ever dealt with at any property. She made me feel right at home.... She was even excited to show me the apartment the first time I saw it. I didn’t even get to see the place until I moved in. The property is so great. Its clean and well taken care of. The whole experience from calling the day I did and me getting a call back that day as well asl the paperwork emailed so I could apply and secure the apartment is how it should be at all properties. Knowing I had a place to be here when I moved in Austin was so comforting. I’m more than happy the with my new place. I feel right at home, and it’s been such a blessing.
