Harbour Landing Apartments

Julieta was very professional, friendly, and helpful in the beginning. The tour was nice, and the units are well kept with beautiful updates. Once I signed the lease, all they cared about is payment. I believe they over charged for 10 days worth for the month ended.
Don't move here if you expect management to do anything or help you resolve issues. Once you signed the contract, they don't respond to you on your issue, no matter how many emails and calls you make to remind them. They are... quick to evict you too. Their accounting calculations for 10 days worth of move is expensive.
**Warning there is 3 days notice eviction, not your normal 14 or 30 days**
I have been seriously disappointed by the quality of service or response from the management office at Harbour Landing. I have had 3 serious issues and have not been resolved. One of these issues is roaches. The place is infested! They were everywhere, even in refrigerator and bedroom closets. They promised me they will send pest control after I signed contract. I gave them a week before I moved into the apartment with my stuff, but it was still infested. I asked her about it and she said she put a work order for it, she forgot to do after I signed the contract. Now my stuff is infested. We are always scared to eat some of foods and since they crawl up on beds, my son and I wear cotton balls in our ears so they don't crawl in them. Sounds funny, but it's for real. I've put so many bug traps in my house, that it still doesn't work.
As they say looks maybe deceiving. So just cuz the apartment looks so nice outside and in the beginning. Everything turns out bad after moving in. Baddest decision to make and to avoid my rental records from becoming bad, I'm stuck here. Lee mas

Poor management communication, Poor Business Practices, Poor Accounting Practices.

Everything needs attention from the pools to the laundry facility to the office staff the only reason I gave a one star is because the maintenance is good here. You have to dodge trees by driving through parking lot some trees hang down so low they scratch your car every apartment unit has trees Rubbing at least one corner of roof and window. There is dog poo on sidewalks, parking lot floods and when it’s dry it’s full of dirt and sand. Just look at the run down palm trees driving up to the... entrance they can’t even keep the trim imagine what the rest of the property looks like . I can’t wait for my lease to be up. Lee mas

My boyfriend and I moved in about five months ago and we really like it here. There was a small issue with bugs at first, but I've heard that's to be expected with any place in this area. We got traps and haven't had a problem since. The complex is definitely dated but they replace the things that really matter. During Harvey a bunch of food spoiled in our fridge and left an awful smell, and they replaced the fridge for free. We also just got eco friendly toilets installed in our building! And... as long as you call the office in the morning to put in a work order, maintenance will most likely take care of it by the end of the day. The staff is really friendly and they have fresh baked cookies every morning. They also provide a free breakfast once a month, and organize other community activities. It isn't our dream place, but it's close to TAMUCC and it's great for college students on a budget. Lee mas

Getting an answer from the office is near impossible. I've filed multiple work orders for what appears to be black mold and no one will reply or come rectify the issue. Maintenance is sloppy and inconsiderate when they do actually make it out and they do very little to fix the problems they've been called for.
