Springs Apartments

I lived at the springs for almost three years. After the freeze of 2021 they went on business as usual I paid my rent on time every month and when they started doing repairs they said they would move me to another apartment when they wanted to work on mine, so I signed a new lease with them which started in Nov 2021 they then in Feb 2022 canceled my lease and told me I had to move. At first they only gave me until the end of Feb after I complained they gave me another month but still I am a... senior citizen and handicapped and it was very difficult as I had to leave many things, they totally did this in bad faith, they waited almost a year after the storm to declare the place unlivable, the elevator was out for nearly 4 months in the summer of 2021 and I was pretty much trapped in my apt, yet I paid my rent on time each month. They took my money signed a new lease and then kicked me out. This is a horrible way to treat people. Lee mas

The park in the front of the complex is nice but hard to get to. I lived there for over 20 years. At first, it was great. Everything went downhill in the past 3 years. They didn't handle repairs after the freeze of 2021. They kicked me out with 2 months to go. I always paid my rent on time. They gave me 9 days to move but did give me an additional 10 days just in case. I was lucky enough to find another place within that time. I am currently filing a lawsuit against them because they NEVER... gave me my security deposit back so now, I am suing them for as much as I can. By the way, they evicted everyone now. I have lived here for two years and have experienced repeated flooding, broken appliances, and leaks that have yet to be fixed. In addition to the ducks you’ll find rats, opossums, and snakes. It seems the complex is continuing to go down hill, so I encourage you to do your research before choosing this complex as your home.

Don’t let the price and square footage fool you. I normally don’t write bad reviews but the truth needs to be told. The current staff should be replaced with someone that is willing to live in the century we are in now and not in the past. It’s at a cheaper price because the complex and amenities are cheap and the oldest. The same things that were first in the apartments when first built, are still in them now. Gates barely work properly. Leaks are patched work. Mold is in the ceilings and... window panels. Raccoons are everywhere. Pool is kept clean from the looks but i wouldn’t swim in it. Management opens the office when they want to and never answers the phone. When it rains the phone stops working completely. This place should be reported. Lee mas
