West Mockingbird Apartamentos

My move-in felt a bit rushed and not well prepared. I moved in based on a virtual tour but an in-person tour was not asked when I arrived. The layout was very challenging to navigate.

We’ve been living here since the start of COVID, and we absolutely love it. The community is friendly, and we’ve been lucky to have great neighbors. It’s felt like home from the very beginning. Recently, the “elephant” upstairs (a very loud former neighbor!) moved out, which has made things even more peaceful. Overall, it’s been a great place to live, and we’re happy to call it home.

My experience living at West Mockingbird has been pretty great. Ryssa, the leasing agent who helped me, was amazing and so accommodating towards my situation and made the whole leasing process easy!

The staff is very friendly the amenities are great feel safe. The residents are very friendly it’s clean. I been there a year and had no problems there. I would tell my family and friends about the property

Overall, a great community to live in. Most residents respect each other and the leasing/maintenance team work hard to keep the building and grounds in top shape.

I think the only critical comments would be:
1) Weekend rowdiness/noise around the pool that goes until midnight/1am. I wish the property had a security officer that made rounds on Friday and Saturday evenings to check the courtyards and garages for abnormal activity.

2) The consistent issues with the resident parking garage gates.... They seem to break regularly and it takes a long time for replacement parts to arrive. If the property proactively bought extra spare parts in advance, these repairs would be faster. Not sure why they don't take this simple step, knowing the repeated issues. I think that they just need to change the rate system based on the repeated issue. Lee mas
