West Mockingbird

I enjoy it so far, however I feel some things should be changed. The environment can be dirty esp with residents who have dogs. I would appreciate proper enforce For owners to clean after their dogs. I would like dish washer and washer and dryer to be changed or at least taken for repair. They are old so I find them not performing as they should.

I live on the second floor, my up stair neighbors are still loud as ever even after voicing my concerns for someone from the leasing office to go tell them anonymously. Secondly, the hallways are still very smelly and it disturbs me and my partner and there's a terrible stain at the end of the hallway right before you exit the doors to go to the garage. Third, we are pretty new still but we have dealt with fire alarms that ring at 5 am, at 11 or 10 pm, it's not great.

Leasing Office staff is nice.
Seems like coffee machine is regularly out of order. Nobody seems to use the pool or any communal spaces other than the gym. Inconvenient set up for garage use only being available if you have Toll Tag, as a resident it should be simple with a remote. Motorcycle parking should be available, instead of 1 bike taking up entire parking stalls. Walls are thin, neighbors above are clearly working on their rap dance routine. Other than that, seems fine so far…

My move-in felt a bit rushed and not well prepared. I moved in based on a virtual tour but an in-person tour was not asked when I arrived. The layout was very challenging to navigate.

We’ve been living here since the start of COVID, and we absolutely love it. The community is friendly, and we’ve been lucky to have great neighbors. It’s felt like home from the very beginning. Recently, the “elephant” upstairs (a very loud former neighbor!) moved out, which has made things even more peaceful. Overall, it’s been a great place to live, and we’re happy to call it home.
